The results of the CT Scan came back today and it showed none of the cancer had spread into the Jode's lymph nodes or neck. What a relief for all of us! The plan is to move forward with surgery on Thursday. We don't have a time yet, but she was told it will be outpatient. The doctor told her she would be in extreme pain and basically hate him for about 2 weeks. We are so grateful for this great news and hope the surgery goes well for her.
This is the BEST news ever dear friend! I guess our lunch dates will have to consist of milk shakes, smoothies, slurpees, and just good ole ice cream! Sending lots of love and prayers your way!
